Unknown Person Taken Close to Campus - UPDATE

North Central Security provides information to assist our community in working towards a safer environment. When an incident or cause for concern occurs, the Security Department will send out an update regarding the incident.

After further investigation and with NCU Community involvement, the North Central Security Department has been able to confirm the identity of the persons involved with this situation. The final determination is that no one was under threat. The witness, who was at a distance, observed a potentially harmful situation and not knowing the persons involved were friends, acted in a responsible and correct manner. With the NCU Community's response, Security was able to quickly investigate the reports and confirm the true nature of the situation.

• Alerting the authorities quickly when encountering a suspicious situation is vital to a positive resolution.
• Please do not confront individuals exhibiting suspicious behavior - call Security for assistance.
• Do not leave valuables in plain view.
• Never go with a suspect to any location or comply with such demands.
• Please lock your vehicle, apartment and dorm room doors.
